Saturday, October 4th, 2008By utilising cost effective irrigation and gardening technologies we are now able to achieve a full return on investment of home growing of organic veggies within 24 month.
Eric Ben Meir is now consulting RAS-NZ on utilising European and Mediterranean agricultural technologies across the south-pacific.
With a BSc in Plant Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and over 10 years of experience in Turf and Urban Agronomy, Eric will assist us at RAS-NZ to develop solutions that will help customer save money using organic growing technologies (download Eric’s green roofs solution presentation from here) .
With the introduction of modern garden equipments and technologies, home growers are now able to produce organic vegetables while returning the initial set up cost in less the 24 month from first seeding, this could be done using small growing beds while utilising urban gardens, decks and roofs.
This post will be dedicated to presenting new available technologies that may help you save money while serving high quality spray free organic vegetable to your family’s plate together with providing organic gardening resources throughout New Zealand and Australia.
The post will demonstrate how a 2×4 meter organic vegetable garden can produce the required greens for a family of 3.
