Google’s StreetView is coming to New Zealand, meanwhile a patent request lodged by Google last June will allow Google’s indexing engine to crawl and analyze road sign and ads taken by mobile street cameras.

With the introduction of the StreetView technology into the Google Maps API 3rd party applications will now be able to provide an up to date front view of businesses and property creating the worlds largest real imagery catalog on the web.
